HUNGEXPO Budapest
HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre sits within 36 hectares of landscaped grounds. Following a revitalisation completed in 2021 it offers around 75,000 square metres of event space, with halls ranging from about 5,000 to 20,000 square metres, plus a three-level Congress Centre of 15,000 square metres including a 2,000-seat plenary hall, three dozen meeting rooms, a 2,500 square metre expo area and a rooftop terrace. It can take congresses of up to 15,000 delegates, and two new pavilions were added in the 2021 programme.
Our records disagree on the hall count: the venue summary says seven multifunctional halls while our structured field says eight. Take the hall allocation from the organiser, which is what governs your build in any case.
A recently modernised ground is worth something concrete to an exhibitor: newer halls generally mean better power distribution, rigging provision and data infrastructure than older stock, and fewer of the awkward compromises that come with heritage buildings. We do not currently hold a fair listing for Budapest, so this page describes the city and its venue rather than linking to a calendar.
