Messukeskus, the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, is in the Pasila district near central Helsinki. It offers around 58,000 square metres across seven exhibition halls, plus 40 convertible meeting rooms and the 4,400-seat Amfi Hall auditorium, with restaurants and cafes seating around 4,500 and a large parking garage. It hosts roughly a hundred trade and public fairs a year and over a million annual visitors.
The venue provides venue-wide 5G Wi-Fi supporting tens of thousands of concurrent users. That is worth more than it sounds if your stand depends on connectivity: live demos, streaming, cloud-based product walkthroughs and lead-capture systems all fail badly on congested venue wifi, and it is a routine problem at older grounds.
