Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center
Tuyap sits in the Beylikduzu district on the European side of Istanbul. Opened in 1996 and expanded in 2010, it is the only privately owned fairground of its scale in Turkey, offering around 120,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space across 14 halls plus roughly 25,000 square metres outdoors. Across its annual programme it hosts on the order of 14,000 exhibitors and close to 2 million visitors.
The complex includes a congress and service area seating up to around 10,000, 31 multi-purpose meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, and the five-star TUYAP Palas hotel with 259 rooms connected directly to the fairground. Covered and open parking together handle several thousand vehicles.
The on-site hotel is a genuine practical advantage rather than a marketing detail. On a long build-up, having the crew accommodated with direct access to the halls removes daily transit across a city the size of Istanbul, which is a real saving in time and cost. Worth raising with your contractor when they price crew time.

Customs and the non-EU question
Turkey is outside the EU customs union for most goods, so as with Switzerland, stand materials and exhibits shipped from the EU clear customs and temporary import procedures apply. Confirm early who is handling clearance and what documentation is needed, because this is the most common source of delay for exhibitors shipping into Turkey for the first time.
