Switzerland is a separate build market
We hold no exhibition venue and no trade fair listing for Zurich. Switzerland's major exhibition grounds are elsewhere: Messe Basel and Palexpo Geneva, both of which we cover. Zurich's events lean toward congresses, corporate and financial-sector events rather than large international trade fairs.
The point worth knowing if you are exhibiting in Switzerland is that it is outside the EU customs union. Freight moving from an EU country into Switzerland clears customs, so temporary import procedures, carnets and the associated paperwork apply to stand materials and exhibits in a way they do not for a stand travelling from Germany to Italy. Confirm early who is handling customs clearance, your contractor or your freight forwarder, because an unclear answer becomes an expensive delay at the border. Swiss build costs also generally run above the Western European average, so comparing a Swiss quote directly against a Polish or Italian one without accounting for that will mislead you.
